Shake the genuine sheepskin rug regularly and air it outdoors in the shade. Gently brush the wool in its natural direction with a sheepskin or wool brush; if needed, vacuum on low suction without a rotating brush. Blot spills immediately and spot clean with cool water, a soft cloth and a small amount of wool-safe detergent. Do not soak, machine wash, bleach or tumble dry. Dry naturally, laid flat and away from direct sunlight or heat. For a thorough clean, use a professional cleaner experienced with genuine sheepskin.
